[ Elia will be outside in the early evening, but inside as it gets darker, since he's working on something! Writing on a blank piece of paper (steadily growing less blank), and...he seems to be using a calendar for it, too.

Feel free to bother, he certainly doesn't mind it. ]

He's stopped a little ways back, peering at the notes as best as he can from this distance, trying to figure out what he's doing. He can't read them from here, of course, but he can at least make out the fact that there seems to be a calendar involved]

Though this seems to be less like learning and more like...staring at things a lot, and not even bothering to make food. Maybe tomorrow! Or the next day. For now, getting to figure out how to use the microwave is fine. ]

For one thing-- holy crap, an elf. He knows what those are, even if the guy looks a little strange for what he knows of elves.

And for another thing... he seems to be looking at the appliances instead of using them, so Coil is just gonna hang there for a minute and watch]

[you know what? The baths in the tower are nice and everything... great for soaking, lurking, other things if you have a friend...

...But, sometimes, you just want to swim.

And since Tek still wouldn't be caught dead swimming in the ocean, he's at the pool.

He hasn't gone in yet, though--still standing around the edge of it, in his nice new trunks, arms folded skeptically.

He can tell there's something weird with the water. :\ ]

[awesome, a pool! :D she loves swimming! it's like the easiest sport in the whole world! so the one day she decides she's gonna go for it and give it a try, she shows up in her swimsuit with a towel around her waist and goes for the ladder aaaaaaaand someone else is in here.]

Guah...! [that's what she gets for such focus. :|a it does not get particularly worse or better when she recognizes the guy just standing around as Tek.] Aah, okay. Hi.

[it's such a nice evening out, especially now that it's approaching evening and everything isn't so bright and sleepy everywhere.

Lights are coming on, there is still a tempting glow through the windows... which means the moths are coming out.

One particular moth--looks just like any moth, starting to get ragged around the edges of her wings--is bouncing against the windows of the lobby, like she's trying to get out. A clumsy and aimless repetition--pinging off the glass a couple times, fluttering in circles, and going right back again]

[welp, if anyone is hanging around outside as night falls, there is a pretty good chance that they'll get to see the dead rise.

Out of nowhere, she's materializing up out of the earth... and hopefully not under anyone's feet. That would be awkward.

[this kid is just hanging around outside, rooooolling around in the grass and trying to catch butterflies. he looks kind of like he's been sent through a wood chipper and then reassembled, scratches all over his face and poorly-wrapped bandages looking... pretty bloody... but none of that seems to be stopping his good time!]

[there's someone else who's pretending to blend in, but he's the sort that would only really blend in if he had a milling lower-class crowd to hide in. In a fancy and sparsely-populated tower, however? Not so much. Scarred up, missing an eye, the kid stands out a little.

And he almost walks into her as he goes skulking around the corner of one of the halls, stopping just short of her.
