mingle-y post!!!
[ It is getting to be evening times now, so it's not super super hot out, just pleasantly warm and still kind of bright. Indoors or outdoors, there are probably enough things to do and enough people out and about to have fun or...harassment is fine too. ]

But he'd stopped, and she stayed tense and ready, watching him with silent, observant eyes.
Who are you. What do you want.]

Then comes the veiled look of curiosity. She isn't familiar, is she? He's wondering who she is, why she's looking like that...
...And, of course, hoping she'll say something that he can work with]

A nod that, were it deeper, might have turned into a bow.
Sup, bro?]

...He's going to try anyway, though.
He points at her, and moves his hand around to indicate the tower around them, another question on his face]

Then nods.
Yup. She's here. She's new. Her fingers flash the sign Cadogan had taught her for that word. New.]

He'd originally been so excited when they'd tried to teach him sign language here... until he discovered that no one seemed to know it. So, seeing her sign something instantly grabs his attention.
It takes him a second to remember (he only knows a few words yet) and then his fingers work out the ASL sign for "sign language?"]
