[ It is getting to be evening times now, so it's not super super hot out, just pleasantly warm and still kind of bright. Indoors or outdoors, there are probably enough things to do and enough people out and about to have fun or...harassment is fine too. ]

[it isn't until the guy sits back and turns that he really notices-- wow, he really does have horns growing out of his head.

And it takes Coil a second to realize that he's staring, and to catch up with what is being said. He blinks a little, and shakes his head 'no.'

But he does wander over, trying to seem as politely curious as possible about what he's writing, pointing at the paper with a tilt of his head. ...Though it might be mostly an excuse to get a better look at those horns]

Oh, this? It's a calendar. Well, my own sort of version of the calendar.

[he steps around so he can see, without crowding him.

And, after a quick closer glance at the horns, he inclines his head a little, attempting to prompt him to go on with his explanation]

Well, instead of twelve months as there are here, we have ten months with more days. It's difficult to match up the two...

[ohh, he nods! He gets that.

He gives a small gesture, pointing at himself and then at the calendar and nodding again. Whether it makes any sense or not, he'd tried doing a similar thing when he first arrived]
