It's nice to hear your voice, Elia. How are you doing?

I've been fine. The ocean air is nice here, and...reminds me of home somewhat.

Have you been well too?

Ah, that's a nice thing. It's been a long time since I've experienced the ocean, so I have to admit that it's a nice place to visit.

[He nods a little and then moves his book and staff a bit, offering the young man a seat.]

I've been just fine, thank you.

[ Sits down, slowly and carefully. ]

I live-- well, lived-- near the ocean. Though I still do, here. I think it'd feel strange, being somewhere without so much water.

[ Kind of...wistful. ]

Ah, yes... being out of one's element can be quite disheartening. It's a good thing that the water is not far, then.

[But he noticed that tone.]

It's not quite the same tough, is it?

No, not when I'm somewhere I've never been, and no one I know is here-- it gets lonely, I think.
