[so it looks like today is Robin's equivalent of "spring cleaning" day at the hideout. he's mostly getting his shit in order, tying up some loose ends, trashing the old stuff that no one wants anymore, aaaand... dealing with some business.]

[he hasn't spoken to her in a looooong time... but today he decided to change that.]

So, hey. Can't help but notice there's been an awful lot of murdering going on.

Think you guys could maybe not attract the attention of the whole fucking city?

[with that finally out of the way and him waiting for responses (if they come at all), he's decided to just hang around on one of the couches and distractedly hum something that sounds a little like the Wren Song. there's a distant tapping that might be his foot on a wall.

but eventually he stops that, too. his attention span isn't all that great on a normal day, but today it's even worse. he'll start talking to no one in particular (which means the journal).]

You know what I miss? Fight rings. And not that publicly broadcasted shit they clean up for TV and radio, no--I'm talking real, messy, Underground fights. Those were the best fucking nights. Always a party.

I wonder if they've got anything like that hiding around here... Some corner of the slums, maybe.

[he gets a pretty good, sudden laugh out of that. what a ridiculous notion.]

[mm Robin's laugh makes him chuckle]

[if this is Tek not at his best... well, he still half-thinks he might have been kidding. it's just that silly.]

Maybe it's all that lounging around.

Mm... [he had mostly been kidding, but there was still a little bit of truth to it in all honesty] Of course it is. I'm getting spoiled.

That... is not the first time that someone has said that to me.

[he finds it funny. ...and then he sighs. he really doesn't want to get up]

Also, I need to go shopping.

Shopping for what?

Things for work, mostly.

I need to buy a blade. A sword, preferably.

Mhmm. If I'm going to continue getting the good jobs, I can't keep doing things the hard way.

[goodness he's got this look on his face. very smug, though his eyes are off somewhere else.]

Yes.. [oh goodness that gets his attention back.] That would be fun.

[ha, that makes him laugh. he shifts over and sits up]

Well, I'll shower and change then, and we can go shopping.

Excellent. I'll change too. [since he's in his sexual casual clothes and needs to change to sexy shopping clothes. he makes no immediate moves to get up, though. laaazy.]

[he can just laze on the couch then, while Tek gets up and wanders off to go shower and change (and throw away his poor shirt.) In his case, the desperate want to clean himself off is outweighing his laziness.

He'll be back down in a bit~]

[eventually he will push his lazy ass off the couch and go find some appropriately street-trendy clothes. he's got this fingers-only gloves that he's been meaning to wear.]

[then the town isn't going to know what hit it, because after spending days out in the mud and wilderness, Tek feels like there is some lost ground that needs to be made up. Luckily he has a particularly nice outfit stashed away here for just such an occasion.

Once he's satisfied that he's properly put together, he'll finally head back downstairs, good as new]

[Robin shows up at the top of the stairs just as Tek makes it to the bottom, his hair all fixed up and wearing clothes that fit him properly. he'll head down quickly and slide on up to Tek, wrapping an arm around one of his.]

Where to first, then?

[oh, he's cute. and he isn't a question-spewing sort-of-human girl, and that endears him to Tek even more. out the door they go!]

Everything I need will be the Industrial District, I believe.
