[so it looks like today is Robin's equivalent of "spring cleaning" day at the hideout. he's mostly getting his shit in order, tying up some loose ends, trashing the old stuff that no one wants anymore, aaaand... dealing with some business.]
[Euri]
[he hasn't spoken to her in a looooong time... but today he decided to change that.]
Hey. You really still hiding out in the woods?
Come on, come back. You must be bored to tears out there.
[Murdertastic Filter]
So, hey. Can't help but notice there's been an awful lot of murdering going on.
Think you guys could maybe not attract the attention of the whole fucking city?
[Public]
[with that finally out of the way and him waiting for responses (if they come at all), he's decided to just hang around on one of the couches and distractedly hum something that sounds a little like the Wren Song. there's a distant tapping that might be his foot on a wall.
but eventually he stops that, too. his attention span isn't all that great on a normal day, but today it's even worse. he'll start talking to no one in particular (which means the journal).]
You know what I miss? Fight rings. And not that publicly broadcasted shit they clean up for TV and radio, no--I'm talking real, messy, Underground fights. Those were the best fucking nights. Always a party.
[tap tap tap tap.]
I wonder if they've got anything like that hiding around here... Some corner of the slums, maybe.

It'll only take him a minute to pay for that and get it wrapped up]
no subject
Anything else you wanted to get?
no subject
...maybe.]
No, that's good for today, I think.
[also, he's BROKE]
no subject
[he bumps up against his shoulder as he starts to walk.]
Back to the hideout, then, or the tower?
no subject
[also-- BROKE]
no subject
he starts off all cozy distance, very close, but slowly drifts to a more casual walking distance as they go on. he makes smalltalk, but nothing interesting. then there's a longer gap of silence as they're getting close, where he starts getting closer to Tek again.
until he just stops walking completely, a few blocks away.]
I've been thinking.
no subject
Still, he gets a few paces past him before he stops and glances back]
About?
no subject
[he doesn't look... angry. but there's something in his voice. maybe it's annoyance, or maybe it's something more grating. maybe it's weariness disguised as disbelief.]
no subject
What argument?
[as in, which one. hadn't they already had a few today?]
no subject
[the fingers of his dominant hand are down by his side, but he wiggles them like he did when there was a dagger to roll between them.]
no subject
So what?
no subject
[he walks back up to him again, circles to stand in front of him.]
And I don't think you take me seriously.
no subject
Of course I do.
no subject
But that's not really what I was thinking about.
[he reaches out, seizes Tek by the jaw, and kisses him. roughly.]
no subject
But then it's something decidedly not bad, and he's left with a decision to make. He's suddenly found himself in a situation that he doesn't want to waste.
...So, after a surprised sound in his throat and some tension... he brings up an arm to push against Robin's chest a little]
no subject
he growls at him, really growls, and Tek can feel it when he bares his teeth to do it. that arm gets shoved out of the way, Robin's fingers curled around the offending wrist. his teeth turn into a bite at his jaw. that turns into mouthing his neck, possessive.]
no subject
At the shove, the bite, there is a shocked '--nnh!' ...but it's in the wrong voice.
Robin gets violent, takes charge, and Tek is surprised into a completely unwitting gender switch.]
no subject
so he straightens, the last of his chuckling left in open air. he stops gripping her wrist to grab her by the hip instead and pull her up against him. his other hand is almost immediately buried in that hair he likes, palm pressed up against her cheek.]
You like that? [gods, it makes him want to laugh all over again. he settles for kissing her instead, consuming and indulgent and completely ignorant of their surroundings.]
1/2
It's still taking her a breathless moment to catch up to the whole thing, but once she does, she's kissing him back with some ferocity. And then fingers are digging into the fabric of his shirt so she can pull him closer, until her chest is pressed up against his too.
Finally, there is that purr--]
no subject
no subject
he could go on and on with his preferences--he could tell him to change back this or that or just stick to one fucking gender already--but he won't. because that would take time, and he doesn't want to stop tasting him to say it.
he rolls his hips up against him, already wanting, ready to just take and take and take.]
no subject
He wants to be wanted. He wants to be wanted so badly that it's demanded of him, just like this.
He's just... he's so happy.
And just as his hands start to get restless, Robin moves. Fingers immediately untangle from his shirt and rake down his sides until they land on hips and dig in a little there. The tension is already so bad. Just hungry and racing all over, crackling, like a spark to dry kindling]
no subject
and he doesn't. not anymore.
he doesn't let him get away with that for long, reaching down to pry Tek's hands away and shove him--with no warning or reservation--back towards the side of some apartment building unfortunate enough for them to have stopped in front of.
the idea of it makes his stomach turn, makes him feel sick with nervousness, but he pushes it down in favor of striding forward, pressing himself close again, running a hand up the other's thigh. he grabs his ass, bites at his lip, growls at the back of his throat again to drown himself in indulgence instead of lingering on stupid things he doesn't want to think about anyway.]
no subject
Part of him wonders what changed. He has one moment--while his back hits the wall with a grunt--to wonder at what exactly rolled over in Robin's mind to cause this.
But then he has no more room to think about it, with the sound of a growl filling his head instead. It's not the precise noise he's used to hearing, but it's close enough. It has the same effect, pulling that certain rumble up out of his throat again to echo it, because it is a sound that is meant to be shared.
It's more perfect than he could have asked for.
When he pushes against Robin, it's not an attempt to get him away. He's bracing himself, sliding one leg up against Robin's and then rolling his spine, an expert little undulation that hoists his back to a slightly higher point up on the wall. Just a few inches, just enough to matter]
