MINGLING POST
[I hope that everyone in Accord has wish-machine'd up some sweaters, because it's getting cold outside! especially around the Tower, what with all those delightful ocean winds around to make things extra-chilly. it's not so bad indoors, though. the Stewards have been doing a good job of keeping the place nice and warm for you.
so what has the crazy tower bunch been up to? jumping in leaf piles? huddling inside for warmth? trying to break the world record for most cookies baked in a week? plotting to murder everyone with horrible death magic? there's plenty to be doing and plenty of people to bother, so go talk to your neighbors! make a friend, or talk to someone you haven't seen in a while! or just, you know, stumble awkwardly into their business. that works too.]
[[ooc: aw yeah, mingling post! make your own comment, tag other people's comments, go crazy!]]

Then, we're going inside. [--mostly because Robin's not going to get much warmth off of him out here. He's only dragging his body temperature down further.
C'mon, let's go.]

[he... stops holding so tight, slides off him a little, stops standing on his tip-toes to get around him and tuck himself under an arm instead.
...and brush another chunk of ice out of his hair.]
You know, I'm almost inclined to say that was cheating.
no subject
Cheating? I wasn't aware of any rules.
no subject
[he would help, but his own hands feel just as cold. at least to him.]
Buuut, they vary from region to region... and there are different rules for different territories, home games, away games...
So you can just consider yourself lucky.
no subject
...I'll just take your word for it.
no subject
[he laughs, since goodness, this has turned out much better than he was expecting.]
no subject
Thank you for being so merciful, then. I'm new to these things, after all.
no subject
[which he says with that weird... innocent curiosity of his, that little bit that only comes up when he's talking about things very close to him. since it's odd, though, he cuts it off fast and continues:]
Well. If it snows more when winter really shows up, then you'll get plenty of practice.
no subject
...though he's not going so far as to agree with that last bit.]
I think I've had my fill, thank you.
no subject
[he considers his face a moment... before he just darts up to peck him on the cheek. C:]
no subject
Yes.
[and, before Robin can try to convince him of the benefits of playing in the snow, he changes topics without warning]
When were you born?
no subject
Do you mean... What part of the year?
no subject
Mhmm.
no subject
That's, uh... [he forgets exactly how it translates over. this place has like three months too many.] ...That's in late Spring, I think.
no subject
Ah, that explains it.
no subject
[tugs on his sleeve a little. you best hope he doesn't go back to draping.]
no subject
Just, how you are. [--even though it'll end up being harmless, he'll let him think that it's one of those conversations again]
no subject
[oops he's slinked out from under Tek's arm so that he can attach himself to his back again. draping would be a good word, climbing his hands up over his shoulders and down his chest like knuckley spiders.]
Though I'd argue the last one is so amazing that it defies any and all explanation, really.
no subject
You certainly do defy all rational, reasonable explanation.
[he resists the urge to hang onto Robin's wrists by crossing his arms in front of him instead]
no subject
A fire would be nice. What do you think?
no subject
That would be nice.
[--oh! and he suddenly stops, struck by a thought]
...I wonder if I could get those metal men to build me a fireplace this winter. [since they'd built him such a nice bathroom]
no subject
...though he looks just as delighted by the thought of a fireplace being built in Tek's room as Tek does, I'm sure.]
Now that is a novel idea. Fully encouraged.
no subject
...It seems like an awful lot of work. [ash. wood. ventilation.]
And everything I have is flammable. [hmm.] Oh, and the smoke...
no subject
[he's got to show him what a good idea it is! a perfect idea! he'll just kneel down in front of it, draw a little design in the soot there (a very simple circle and some squiggles), and subtly bleed on it in that finger-bitey way that he does.
and boom, you've got little sparks catching all up in there. it'll be perfect in no time.]
no subject
[--whoa he did not know that Robin could do that. Immediately shutting up and getting closer, peering at the budding flames]
...You control fire?
