[I hope that everyone in Accord has wish-machine'd up some sweaters, because it's getting cold outside! especially around the Tower, what with all those delightful ocean winds around to make things extra-chilly. it's not so bad indoors, though. the Stewards have been doing a good job of keeping the place nice and warm for you.

so what has the crazy tower bunch been up to? jumping in leaf piles? huddling inside for warmth? trying to break the world record for most cookies baked in a week? plotting to murder everyone with horrible death magic? there's plenty to be doing and plenty of people to bother, so go talk to your neighbors! make a friend, or talk to someone you haven't seen in a while! or just, you know, stumble awkwardly into their business. that works too.]

[ Wow it's awfully cold out! Which means that warm drinks are necessary after some time outdoors.

Which means that there is one sheepy in the kitchen making some tea (he has grown to like it here), nose and ears still a bit red from the weather outside.

But on the plus side, he looks quite happy! ]

[goodness. achromia makes all the blood in your face kind of easy to notice, so Robin's suffering from a similar red-nose-and-ears experience when he makes his way back into the kitchen, peeling off his totally ice-cold gloves as he walks.]

Oh, hey. [a person! neato.] Cold out there, huh?

It is! Much colder than I'm used to.

[ Thankfully, he's got a coat to keep him warm. He'd never needed one before, so it's kind of neat to have to wear things like this. ]

Would you like some tea?

Yeah, sure. If you're offering.

[tea is nice. C: he'll walk a bit to wring his gloves out over the sink.]

What're you used to, if you don't mind me asking?

[ Gettin' out another cup, in that case. The water's almost done heating! ]

It's warmer than this-- but Tarina is by the ocean, so I suppose it's cool enough that this isn't unbearable.

So it's not a far stretch, huh? Sounds nice.

I'm more used to caves, so this is actually right on par. Those things get cold.

There were a few caves on the cliffs, I've heard, though I never went in.

[ He prefers to stay away, since not doing that's the reason he needs his cane. ]

Are they comfortable at all?

Caves? Oh, no. Not really. They're freezing and hard to walk in.

But I guess they're not so bad when you have people making them more livable.

[Krista is taking a break from her crazy studying binge to get some snacks or something... but she notices Sheepy in there, and remembers that she likes him, and that she should probably say hello...!]

[ Absently touches his face, as if checking. He seems to be thinking about this for a moment. ]

I... Guess, yeah. [...she shrugs.] Still no laws against smiling or anything like that.

I didn't think so! Er, I'd hope not, in any case. Those would be difficult to follow.

How would you even enforce that? The smile police?

[a-anyway, she goes back to finding a cupboard to rummage through.]

But what're you so happy about, anyway?

They don't sound very frightening.

[ He has to think about that. ]

I think it's only that I'm happy to be alive. it sounds odd, but it's nice outdoors, and it's comfortable inside, and it feels like a nice time of the year.

Nah, not scary at all. So you're probably good.

[she pulls out... a bag of chips! classy. though she looks up at sheepy guy here when he mentions the 'happy' bit, a little surprised.]

Whoa, way to make it deep. Not that there's anything wrong with liking being alive, or anything.

Oh, I didn't mean to do that. It's easier to say that I'm just in a good mood, maybe...

[shortly after the sun goes down, Tabby's wandering on in from the blustery outdoors. She definitely isn't dressed for the cold however, and is conspicuously lacking the chilly red face. She is rubbing her arms at least, though that's mostly because spending that much time in the cold makes her dead flesh start to feel numb and stiff.]

--Hey, Sheepy! You're still here.

[for some reason, this surprises her a little. She kind of thought something would have eaten or murdered him by now. This is a pleasant surprise!]

[ Maybe he should've found a job or something, but it's awfully difficult to even meet with anyone when it's the horns they notice first. They have a way of scaring people off, after all. ]

It's good to see anyone here doing well. It's naturally difficult to be away from home, so if we're fine, then it's nice to see.
