[His Highness and supreme ruler of Tel Maran, crown prince of the Dal'Anor Empire; the Emerald Prince himself is looking.... rather terrible.

In fact, he's not been seen for quite some time, and when he's finally stepping out of his room, he looks a lot thinner. The prince appears sickly and tried, and he walks like he's in his own world, taking a break once before the stairs to catch his breath.

So how about them curses? They tend to suck.]

[Why is she so precious? He just wants to cuddle her forever, but he's partly wondering if she's a hallucination brought from the pain.

Like a way to bring comfort in the form of fluff and girl.]

It is a relic that allows us to copy abilities from others...

[if she's a hallucination, she's a very attention one! She eats up every word, glancing from his eyes, to the bracer, and back again. Seemingly completely fascinated with what he's saying]

[oh, that's a compliment! So, she smiles.

She still wants to play with the bracer, and is still aware of the fact that there is something wrong with him, so the two wants sort of jumble together in her head--it comes out as a gesture, her reaching out and patting the back of his hand, comfortingly and only-sort-of-coincidentally near his bracer.

She doesn't know who he his, but he feels like magic, and she wants him to feel better]

[Strangely enough, it does make him feel a little bit better. So he continues to pet her soft downy fur and tries to focus on his breathing to calm down.]

...perhaps you are a kind djinn come to aid me?

[his hand is going to be completely covered in glittery dust at this rate.

And she doesn't know what a djinn is, but she does wish she could aid him, so that gets a happy giggle. Maybe she is whatever he's talking about, and she can help him. That would be cool.

Also, sort of mimicking him, she tries to reach up and pat his hair... but she can really only reach what drapes over his shoulder]

[It makes him even more FABULOUS.

...aww, she's so sweet. He'll lean down so she can pet.]

[good, because she's getting the dust in his hair now, too. he'll be so nice and sparkly by the end of it.

She hums when he stoops down, a happy sound without melody, and pets his hair. It was making her happy when he was doing it, so maybe it would do the same for him.

Someone who feels like magic, and isn't feeling well? It's so very familiar to her, effectively holding her normally wandering attention. She just wants him to feel better]

[Her kindness is at least a little helpful to his pain, and he tries to relax under her gentle touch.]

[it might not be a harem, but it's at least a little unconditional affection, right? A little bit of selfless cari-- Oh. Nevermind, now she's distracted by one of his earrings, gently poking at it.

And she nods! Though the motion might be more of a mimicry of how his earrings move when she pokes at them, than an intentional answer. Not that it makes it any less true, though.
