This place is beautiful. I enjoyed the castle, but this has a certain charm to it that I have not experienced before. The tower is quite exotic.
Even the kitchen is new to me, with the strange ways to heat food. I've tried some of my mother's old recipes, if anyone is hungry! There is bread, soup and roast.
[Myra can, obviously, be found in the kitchen, surrounded by pots and pans. Somebody is nesting.]
Ah... one more thing. Are there any other healers present?

When he speaks, she blinks with a bit of confusion. His eyes are still weirding her out a bit, but they don't quite say 'clocks' to her, since her nomadic people didn't use such things.]
You... can sense that? My, I did not know that it was possible.

[He takes the plate, smiling amiably.]
Who is the father? Is he here?
no subject
[She bows her head slightly in apology, but Cheriour's next question makes her close her eyes with a sigh.]
The father... no. He is not here.
[She hugs her arms around herself, looking away.]
I do not think I'll ever see him again.
no subject
[He sees her sadness and nods, concern on his face.]
Oh...I'm sorry. That's sad to hear. You do not believe he will come here anytime soon?
no subject
[She gives a small sigh and turns to put on a kettle.]
I have not seen him since we spent a night together. I do not believe he even knows who I am.
no subject
[He frowns slightly.] That's upsetting. But maybe one day you'll meet him again so you can show him what you two brought forth. And if you don't...well, the past is the past.
no subject
[She sighs and shakes her head.]
It is probably best if he did not know.
no subject
[He nods solemnly.] Well...at least there are lots of people around here who would take care of your children! I know I would be willing to help.
no subject
[She smiles a little again.]
You're too kind.
no subject
[A slightly bashful grin.] It's only what I do, ma'am. But thank you.

Yes! Oh, yes, it's very tasty. I like it. You're a very good cook.

[Have some more, Mr. Angel.]
no subject
[OM NOM NOM NOM.]
Honestly, I do not need to eat as angels do not require sustenance, but sometimes I have to taste things like this. It's wonderful.

[She blushes a bit at the unusual praise and smiles.]
Here you go.

I'm curious...what sort of world did you come from?

Elf? Ah, yes, I could tell by the ears. Is the golden speckled skin unique to your race?
no subject
[She touches one of the speckles on her skin and shakes her head.]
No. It is not unique to my race, but to me. I am a half-breed; only my mother was an elf. My father... I do not know what he was, but my mother called him 'the golden creature'.
no subject
[He pauses with the fork to his mouth and slowly sets it down.] You don't know who or what your father was? Hmmm. That's interesting. Have you tried finding him?
no subject
[She gives a somewhat sad smile at that.]
After my mother died, that was exactly what I set out to do... which is why I have seen a little more of the world than the desert. But so far... no luck.

Hopefully you'll complete your quest someday and be reunited with him.
