[The clocktower is striking midnight, and Euri and Dog are sitting out on the front steps. In front of them is a decent-sized bonfire that's burning gold and red. Euri's watching it sullenly, sipping at some kind of drink in a large mug. Dog is sprawled over her lap like a lazy mutt.]
You know, this holiday is a lot more serious when you celebrate it with only a couple of people.
It's much more relaxing, though.
I guess.... [She scratches at his ears with her free hand.] You're pretty relaxed.
And you should cheer up.~ This time of the year isn't that bad.
