MINGLING POST
[I hope that everyone in Accord has wish-machine'd up some sweaters, because it's getting cold outside! especially around the Tower, what with all those delightful ocean winds around to make things extra-chilly. it's not so bad indoors, though. the Stewards have been doing a good job of keeping the place nice and warm for you.
so what has the crazy tower bunch been up to? jumping in leaf piles? huddling inside for warmth? trying to break the world record for most cookies baked in a week? plotting to murder everyone with horrible death magic? there's plenty to be doing and plenty of people to bother, so go talk to your neighbors! make a friend, or talk to someone you haven't seen in a while! or just, you know, stumble awkwardly into their business. that works too.]
[[ooc: aw yeah, mingling post! make your own comment, tag other people's comments, go crazy!]]

...Do you make a habit of this, then?
[and here he'd thought she'd had good taste, with the whole boar roast thing. Apparently, he could have just served up a handful of leaf litter for dinner instead. That would have been a lot less work, and he could have saved that shirt]

I think maybe it's because you used magic on them? Death is a pretty good flavor. Except maybe to living things.
[which is actually the reason she likes dying, rotting things in general. but some mysteries may never be solved.]
...So I'll... stop eating dead leaves, then.

So, his voice is still flat and judging.]
...Next time, I'll kill you something more appetizing.

[or favors. whatever it was that he'd done before. ...the point is that she's weird.]

[she looks like she might be seriously considering it, for a moment. don't tempt her.]
But I think I still like money more.

[he sighs. she's just not going to get it, so he moves on...]
And I have a new project for you.
no subject
Another enchantment?
no subject
Yes, if you're up for it.

[h-heh, Tek and his jewelry. still thinks it's kind of funny, even if she knows he's also got a lady form.]
no subject
[raising his eyebrows in that 'do you have a problem with that?' kind of way]
no subject
[no problems! C:]
Last time was fun.

[oh... actually, he probably still has it with him. Let him just fish around in his pockets for a minute, and... ah, yes.
He pulls out a bracelet made of wire and what seems suspiciously like snake vertebrae. See, it's not even girly]
This one. I want the shield against magic that you'd talked about before.

[her eyes widen a little when she looks at it--she wasn't expecting it to be made out of bones! and they don't look like human bones; she's not as well-versed in animal skeletons as she is with people.]
What are those from?
no subject
...And show off.
So, as he'd done that time before, he very purposefully closes his fingers around a few of the bones for a moment...]
A snake. ...I think it was killed by a dog.
no subject
You can do that?
no subject
Of course.
no subject
[she really does just look SUPER amazed by that. usually she has to track down something's ghost and manage a conversation before she can know that. and it doesn't work great on animals.]
no subject
[wasn't going to admit that part at first, but she seems impressed enough. And he'll continue to look just so proud of himself, flipping the bracelet around between his fingers]
But, yes. Death is my domain, after all.
no subject
no subject
Oh, you don't know the half of it.
no subject
[she holds out her hand. she'll take the bracelet, then.]
Will you still be around here tomorrow?
no subject
[which means that he's probably expecting this one to be considered payment for that debt. which means means she's not getting anything else.]
You also owe me my pen and notebook.
[just another helpful reminder]
