MINGLING POST
[I hope that everyone in Accord has wish-machine'd up some sweaters, because it's getting cold outside! especially around the Tower, what with all those delightful ocean winds around to make things extra-chilly. it's not so bad indoors, though. the Stewards have been doing a good job of keeping the place nice and warm for you.
so what has the crazy tower bunch been up to? jumping in leaf piles? huddling inside for warmth? trying to break the world record for most cookies baked in a week? plotting to murder everyone with horrible death magic? there's plenty to be doing and plenty of people to bother, so go talk to your neighbors! make a friend, or talk to someone you haven't seen in a while! or just, you know, stumble awkwardly into their business. that works too.]
[[ooc: aw yeah, mingling post! make your own comment, tag other people's comments, go crazy!]]

It was difficult to tell she was mournful, given the way she tended to stare blankly at everything, but that was all right, no one els ehad to know she was quite as mournful as she was.
Jinx hated snow. It was so cold in her bones, when she tried to phase through it.]

but he sidles up kinda closer so that he can peek out of the window too, looking rather apprehensive about all that cold white stuff out there.]

Dude. It's the mind reader.
Sup, mind reader.]

Hello, lady. She doesn't like outside?
no subject
A brief headshake, to go along with the thought.
Well... she doen't like outside right now.
Why? She wonders if he likes outside, with his bandages and bare feet.]
no subject
[he wiggles his bare feet.] Hrrm... It's cold...
no subject
Jinx hates cold.]
no subject
[he thoughtfully sucks on one of his fingers. what a dilemma.]
no subject
Oh, he wanted to help.
That was so... sweet.
Jinx didn't really understand it.
Hesitantly, she reaches a hand out to pat his arm awkwardly. There there.]

Does Lady want to do anything else?
Monster won't go out until Tabby Mom says he can.
no subject
...Oh, you're still here.
[or he's just surprised to see her again. something like that.]
no subject
In the snow? Like an idiot?
...Ugh. Fine. Have a vague head nod that is either acknowledgement of his correct-ness or a hello.]
no subject
And I'm still being set with glares, I see.
no subject
Because glaring didn't work at all.]
no subject
[a complete lie. he's met much worse. but still, it won't stop him from stepping closer.]
How can I fix that, huh?
no subject
Her head tilts the slightest bit in his direction, waiting for something better than that question.
She might offer a little shrug, though.]
no subject
And, unfortunately for her, it's part of Tek's job to sense exactly how mournful someone is. It's a nice feeling to him, but he'll pretend like it's still a secret.
Stopping by on his way through the hall, he leans a little to follow her gaze out the window]
...Pretty, isn't it?
no subject
No. No it's not pretty. It's hideous and clean.]
...No.
no subject
[he pretends to sound surprised, though he doesn't particularly care if she buys it or not]
Why not?
no subject
She just shrugged.
Because. That's why.]
Cuz.
no subject
Do you dislike it because it's cold, or do you really have something against the aesthetics of it?
[because people seem to get the two mixed up a lot around here. complaining about one when their problem is really with the other]
no subject
That's what you get for asking too many questions.]
Too white.
no subject
Fine, point taken.
He'll take a slightly different approach to things, then]
...I can't help but imagine that you must be terribly bored, here.
no subject
Then she gives a quick jerk of a nod.
SO bored. So very, very bored.]
no subject
Well, then why are you spending so much time avoiding and turning away things that could be fun? Or, at least entertaining enough to spend your time on.
