[it's taken her months of work... first getting the player, then scrounging around for batteries, and a long fruitless search for CDs in the city. Finally, after a genius piece of advice, she has everything she's been looking for.
Anyone with an open grimoire will get treated to this triumph in the middle of the night, in the form of some very loud... grating... music?]
Goddamn, this is better, isn't it? I've missed this so bad. [she's flipping through most songs before they're even halfway through. She doesn't have the patience to listen to whole songs right now--too wired, too excited with her new toy]
This place needs more music and less... fucked up shit. ...Seriously, what is it with dead people coming back to life around here? Is that the new 'thing' now?
[oh, actually, that gives her an idea. She switches to a new song and rocks out for a minute. Sorry to anyone who might have tried to shut their journal by now but lives on the second floor. She's sitting in the doorway of the room she never uses, CDs scattered all around her, music blasting into the hallway]
I mean, don't get me wrong. It can have its perks... [she gives one of those huhuhu laughs that usually follow dirty inside jokes. Hi, Gabe.] ...But it's mostly just fucking stupid.
...And, speaking of stupid, some bleeding heart should probably come check on the loser in 204. Don't think he wants me as a babysitter.

You're music's too loud. Turn it down...!

[oh hey, it shuts off completely for a second]
What'd you say?
[--oh, she was just switching to a new CD, which starts playing now]

No sir.

gets up.
it'll be quiet for the moments it takes for her to get to her door, open it, and then walk the like... ten feet it takes to stand in front of Tabby.]

Hey, welcome to the party.

She'll even let that boot make contact. It gives her that moment needed to shift her weight.
And then she's rolling up to her feet and lunging forward. She's not aiming to hit with her hands though--no, she's letting her arms slip past either side of the girl that she's pouncing. She's tackling forward, slamming body-to-body, so her hands can theoretically catch them against the wall on the other side of the hallway.
Hi, buddy.]

Oh goddamn it.
no subject
Well, that was pretty stupid, wasn't it?
no subject
Relative. Depends on how this turns out.
no subject
Go on~
no subject
I wasn't kidding about setting you on fire. I'll do it.
no subject
Hey, now that would be a stupid fuckin' idea.
Right now we're getting along. The hell would you screw that up for, huh?

...But then her hands go up and smile turns suddenly innocent. She doesn't take a step back, but she at least straightens up, giving Krista room to wriggle away if she wants]
Look at that. Shenanigans kept to a minimum, as promised.
no subject
Okay, great. We can maybe do the friend thing now.
no subject
[following after, probably way too closely]
I'm not turning my music down though.

[ugh turns her shoulder towards her. personal space, Tabby!]
