Nishi has finished a batch and they're cooling off in a paper towel-lined strainer — gotta rip out any excess oils, y'know — and munching on a waffle & chicken sandwich. Weird? Maybe. Flipping delicious? You know it!

A part of the country I'm from does eat them together for dinner, yes. Waffles are usually for breakfast, and chicken for either lunch or dinner.

I tried several times, from several different animals, trying to figure out why so many men in my family loves the bones as much as the meat and I have not figured it out yet. [shakes her head THIS IS A CONUNDRUM]

I do like sweet dishes quite a bit, as long is there enough meat to balance it out.
