[ If you looked up at the sky in the last hour or so you may have noticed the dragon that was flying about, spreading her wings and all that. She couldn't help herself anymore, she needed to fly.

And once she was done stretching her wings and all that jazz she landed nearby the castle, clearly not giving a crap about subtly. Then the dragon started to glow and in a brilliant light display shifted into a woman.

So now there's a lady where a dragon once stood idly stretching her human limbs on the lawn. Whatever will you do? ]

Much.

[tucking the necklace back into his shirt]

I find this form far more convenient.

[heh.]

Do you want to go for a walk?

[and he's just going to saunter off in the direction of the tower, expecting her to follow]

It's a little chilly out here though, don't you think?

You know... at first, I very much disliked the idea of being housed in this tower.

But, as far as cages go, I have to admit that it has some fascinating features.

[glancing at her as they walk]

Have you gotten to do much exploring of the tower yet?

[identity profile] heresyandlace.livejournal.com 2011-11-23 08:57 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, well then.

[smile]

There are some places you must see.

[identity profile] heresyandlace.livejournal.com 2011-11-23 09:22 am (UTC)(link)
Unless you have something that you would rather do instead?

I just thought I would show you while we're off exploring.

[identity profile] heresyandlace.livejournal.com 2011-11-23 09:36 am (UTC)(link)
[heh... he does seem pleased to hear that.]

Excellent.

Then, I know just what I want to show you first.

[into the lobby and up the stairs!]

[he's passing right by the kitchen and the library-- whatever he's bringing her to, it's on the third floor.

Once they reach the landing of that floor--]
Back home, I spent much time in the great cities. I didn't mind the crowds so much, but it was nice to find a quiet place to escape to every once in in a while, you know?

And, there was only one place that I ever found truly relaxing in such chaotic settings.

[ah, and now they are reaching the doors to the baths]

Imagine how pleasantly surprised I was to find that this tower has something similar.

[identity profile] heresyandlace.livejournal.com 2011-11-25 08:23 pm (UTC)(link)
[he'll open the door for her. he can pretend to be a gentleman]

After you.

[identity profile] heresyandlace.livejournal.com 2011-11-26 05:41 am (UTC)(link)
I thought so. Certainly something I did not expect to stumble upon in the middle of a tower.

[he follows after her, and goes wandering in to where the entryway branches off to the changing rooms and single-gender baths, which eventually meets up into the communal one beyond, not caring at all which gender branch he happens to be wandering down. He forgot to even look at the signs]

[identity profile] heresyandlace.livejournal.com 2011-11-26 06:42 am (UTC)(link)
I'm surprised that it isn't more crowded, to be honest. They must not know what they're missing.

[when he reaches the edge of the communal bath, he stoops down to experimentally dip a hand into the water... and smiles. The water is perfect]

Mm. This one may even outshine the last one I've been to. Though, it is hard to remember; it has been some years.

[identity profile] heresyandlace.livejournal.com 2011-11-26 07:06 am (UTC)(link)
[mmm. excuse him while he watches her undo her hair]

Though... I do miss the statues. The baths I've attended were always part of some grand temple or another, and housed the most incredible statues I have ever seen.
