[today, someone's whispering something very low and very quiet at the grimoire. those with excellent hearing may hear that it's a one-sided discussion where... a girl is asking a lot of questions? ...to no one...? 'What is this place called?' ... 'How do I go back?' ... 'Oh. What is your purpose...?' ... 'How do I use it...?'
...which ends in a little sound of surprise when she realizes the book can hear her more than what her magic is providing, and, possibly, other people can hear her too. she pipes up, a little awkward, and still very soft-spoken.]

So... Look, I don't know what's... going on here. Like, if I've been kidnapped? Or if I got sucked through a portal to some weird... alternate... steampunk dimension?
But I've... kind of seriously got a lot going on right now. So is there someone in charge I can talk to? I'm missing dance practice and I was kind of busy investigating an ancient evil and stuff. I really need to get back to my friends.
